Today we toured the Guinness factory in Dublin and did a guided tour of the rebellion walk that took place in 1916. At Guinness we did a self guided tour of the history of how the Guinness factory began and how there beer is made. Once we learned about this we were able to pour our own glass of Guinness and walked to the sky deck to look out and see the entire city of Dublin. After doing that tour we did a walking tour of the rebellion tour that took place in 1916 when Ireland rebelled against the British and eventually became an Independent Republic. It was interesting to learn all about the history of Ireland and the struggles they had to go through with the British to be where they are today,as well as drink some yummy beer!
